My handyman
Whitney's new calling in the ward is the Scoutmaster and I am absolutely loving it because he gets to teach the boys how to do all sorts of things, including this:
...and, without having to beg, I get one of these for the kids bathroom!
Halloween...just a little late!
As Halloween fell on a Sunday this year, we didn't have a ward trunk or treat, so we opted for the next best thing...a family costume party! We loaded up our little dragon and flew on over to mom's house for some spooktacular eats and goolish fun!
Who knew that eating from a grave yard would be so good? The coffins (meat loaf), pile of cremated ashes (mashed pototoes) and discarded body parts (bread sticks) were eerily delicious!
The games....AWESOME!

Holiday "Wreath"ing
I was asked to make a holiday wreath for our ward Super Saturday and was given the pattern of a tulle wreath that...well... wasn't exactly my favorite. I tried really hard to turn it into something I would hang on my front door...but this is all I came up with.
Still not my favorite, but it did make the front door!
Then I decided that I would try my hand at another wreath tutorial that I found online. I bought some ribbon at Costco (of all places) and made this bow wreath. I don't think the picture does it justice, but I love it! However, if I had it to do over, I would buy a coordinating ribbon and alternate them through the wreath, but this will do for now!
Work Party
Kambyra enjoyed her first ride on the merry go round!
Whitney had occasion to show off his skills to the only people who may still be impressed by them!
This just about sums up our day!
